Becca Ferguson, LPC hanging up a sign on her front door

Who? Me?

Becca Ferguson

This girl is non-stop (and not in a hustle way, in a fuck-the-system* kind of way)

Let’s be real. This work is not easy.

You know it. I know it.
Being a therapist, a business owner, and a whole human? It’s a lot.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve stayed up late trying to fix broken systems.
You’ve questioned whether you’re doing enough.
You’ve pushed yourself to show up even when you felt like you were falling apart.

And still, you keep going.

I built my work on two things: authenticity and advocacy.

I don’t follow old rules just because that’s the way it’s always been done. I believe in changing the game. It's about time we change how we show up for clients, how we care for ourselves, and how we build something sustainable in a profession that wasn’t built to hold us.

When I went to school to become a therapist, all I knew was that I wanted to help people. I didn’t expect to become a business owner too! When I built my solo private practice and started to experience burnout, I did what a lot of therapists do, I looked for anything that might relieve the pressure. Eventually, my neurospicy brain decided that expanding into a group private practice would finally give me some rest. Ha!

Along the way, I learned firsthand how little support therapists receive when it comes to running a business and how quickly smart, capable people end up stuck in survival mode when no one ever teaches them how this part works.

As I built and rebuilt my own practice, I kept seeing the same patterns! Therapists juggling client work, documentation, and admin while carrying guilt for wanting stability, rest, and support in a profession that often expects self-sacrifice. Add in an ADHD or neurospicy brain, and it can feel like you’re constantly behind, no matter how hard you’re trying!

On the outside, my systems looked like everything was rocking and rolling. On the inside, my brain was a pit of despair! Before I knew it, therapists started asking me how I was doing it. So I did what I do best, I dug my heels in, started paying attention to my process, and realized how much I loved teaching.

What I learned surprised me. People didn’t need another rigid formula or someone telling them it was “my way or the highway.” The more I slowed down and actually listened, the clearer it became that the real need wasn’t more hustle or better discipline. It was support in figuring out how to build values-based businesses that work with their brain instead of against it.

Through coaching, workshops, and practical tools, I support therapists who are tired of urgency-driven advice and ready to create something sustainable without losing themselves in the process.
